“When you’re alone you get all these random thoughts, which give you anxiety. So there were some mental issue involved as well.

There is no one to console you, no one to advise you. So even though you are on call with your mom and dad you can’t be there.

You miss the warmth, you know, of human touch. And without that, it’s sort of getting on my nerves: What should I do?

I don’t want to die alone.”

“My routine is sort of normal now, I do my readings, I try to be as productive as I can. But really, I have no work, so I’m sort of unemployed now.

But I try to do my best.

I am a spokesperson for the Youth Congress. I try to do the posts on social media, I try to record videos, I try to raise awareness, you know, about certain issues.”

“Another positive thing is that a lot of people had issues with their family. They never had the chance to spend time together.

My own father was on the ground every day, he is a politician as well. He would spend 15 or 16 hours a day outside the house and then he would just come back to have dinner and sleep.

But now, after about 20 years, I finally had time to play games with my dad!

It was a necessary break.”
